The UA AI Experience recognizes your progress every step of the way. As you complete the course, you’ll earn badges that showcase the AI knowledge and skills you’ve developed.
Along the way, you’ll receive recognition for completing each of the four core learning modules. Once you finish the entire course, including one of the three Module 5 Pathways, you’ll earn the official UA AI Experience digital badge, which you can share on LinkedIn and other professional platforms.
Earn Recognition Throughout the Course
As you complete each of the first four modules, you'll earn a badge recognizing the AI competency you've developed in that topic. These badges are automatically awarded in your Blackboard course and appear under the Achievements tab.
Discernment Certified
Demonstrates your ability to decide when and why AI should be used. You’ll learn to assess AI’s capabilities, identify valuable use cases and establish appropriate boundaries.
Director’s Cut
Recognizes your ability to write clear, purposeful prompts using the Role–Task–Context framework and refine those prompts to produce more useful results.
Verification Pro
Demonstrates your ability to evaluate AI-generated content, identify errors and bias, and verify that outputs are credible, relevant, accurate, fair and trustworthy.
Defender of the Standard
Recognizes your commitment to responsible AI use, including protecting data, following institutional policies, disclosing AI use appropriately and taking responsibility for AI-assisted work.
Earn the UA AI Experience Digital Badge
Complete the first four core modules and one of the three Module 5 Pathways to earn the official UA AI Experience digital badge. After completing the course, you’ll receive an email from Milestone (no-reply@campuslabs.com) with instructions for claiming your badge in Achievement Studio, where you can easily share it on LinkedIn and other professional platforms.
This course-completion badge represents your ability to apply the full 4D Framework:
- Discern when AI is appropriate.
- Direct AI with clear, purposeful prompts.
- Double-check AI-generated information.
- Defend your decisions and use AI responsibly.
How to Earn Your Badge
To earn each module achievement and digital badge:
- Complete each of the first four modules to earn four in-course recognition badges that appear in Blackboard.
- Answer the knowledge-check questions correctly.
- Complete the module’s Crimson Chat application activity.
Complete one Module 5 Pathway to finish the course.
- Receive an email with instructions to claim your official UA AI Experience digital badge and share your achievement.
